Is your test FDA approved?
Our lab partners are CLIA certified and uses EUA tests following the FDA’s guidance. A CLIA certification is vital for a testing facility and is required for traveling to countries outside the US.
How is my sample for testing collected
Depending on-site setup can be drive through / walk-in, you will be given a swab and asked to collect a sample of nasal secretions. This is done by inserting the swab into your nostril approximately 1 inch into the nasal passage (midway) with the most visible drainage or the nostril that is most congested if drainage is not present. The swab is rotated several times, removed gently and this process is repeated on the other side. Please note that you need to administer your own swab or bring someone that can do it for you.
What do I need to bring with me?
Please bring your ID and insurance card (if you have one). If you are uninsured, the tests are still free. If you hold a foreign passport please bring that (don’t worry, your test is also free). If you are undocumented, just bring your ID.
Can I bring someone with me?
Yes they can as long they have valid form of ID and insurance if they have insurance. If no insurance they will be covered by program at $0 to them.
Do you test children?
We allow children over the age of 2 to get tested.
When will I receive my results?
A PCR Test takes 24 to 48 hours to receive your results. This test is completely free of charge.
